With record-high fuel prices as well as an increasing need for renewable fuels, the nation's attention is focusing upon the increased production and use of ethanol. Not only are we, as a country, looking to ethanol as a propellant for our vehicles, ethanol is quickly becoming a vehicle carrying communities through fierce economic hardship by stimulating the local economy through utilizing local fabricators, construction workers, and resources.
Ag Energy Resources, Inc. began as an idea in 2005. After numerous months of careful planning, loans were secured and the design began to take place. Consisting of local players as well as experts from abroad, Ag Energy has been able to develop a team of individuals capable of handling any and all tasks during the construction of the plant as well as the initial startup and finally the production of ethanol.
The intended purpose of the Ag Energy Resource project is to establish an integrated 5 million gallon per year bio-fuels facility, utilizing corn to produce fuel-grade ethanol with the expectation of increasing output to 7 million gallons after the second year.
